Are You A Baseball Fan? Do You Support College Athletics?
Maybe You Have Room For an Atwater Aviator Player To Call Home For The Summer?
ALL of our players requiring a host family are current Collegiate baseball players furthering
their baseball careers. Collegiate players gain valuable experience and playing time by
participating in Summer Baseball.
Our season runs from June until early August.
Tentatively, our schedule has 50 games in that span. We play 34 Home Games and 16 Road
Games (7 Over-nights). Most of the Home Games are at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark (3
Doubleheaders)
Why am I telling you this. Three Reasons.
First, to show how busy we keep our players.
Second, to show that for some periods the players will be on the road, either staying
overnight, or driving back by van late.
And Third, did I mention that you and your family get FREE ADMISSION TO ALL ATWATER
AVIATORS HOME GAMES!!!
Being a Host Family for a player at this level can be a very unique and rewarding experience.
You will forever have the knowledge that you:
Assisted a young Baseball Player pursue his dream of the Big Leagues.
Provided a summer Home for a Collegiate Athlete.
Helped the Atwater Aviators Organization with its most pressing, and much appreciated
need.........
A HOST FAMILY!
Those interested in becoming a host family should be able to provide a bed, and adequate
space for the player to store his belongings. The players are required to live under your
rules, and to be a responsible member of your household.
